Financial elder abuse is on the rise

Financial abuse and exploitation are among the fastest growing forms of elder abuse, according to the Elder Justice Coalition in Washington, D.C. (http://www.elderjusticecoalition.com/).

The problem is expected to intensify, since 70% of this country's wealth is controlled by people age 50 and older.
